Privacy policy

This policy covers scoutupgrade.com and tools.scoutupgrade.com (our free tools, including the GTA 6 Storage Planner). We keep it short because we collect very little.

No accounts

You can't sign up or log in on either site, and we never ask for passwords, console account details or payment information.

Data stored on your device

The Storage Planner saves what you type — your console, free space and any game names and sizes you add — in your browser's localStorage, so it's still there when you come back. It stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can remove it by clearing your browser's site data. The main site (scoutupgrade.com) doesn't use localStorage.

If you use "Share my result" in the planner, your device's share menu or clipboard handles it. We don't see what you share.

Visit statistics

We may use a privacy-friendly analytics service (Cloudflare Web Analytics) to count visits and see which pages are popular. It doesn't use cookies for this and isn't used to build advertising profiles. We only look at totals, such as page views and countries.

Hosting and security logs

Both sites are hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against attacks. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Affiliate and outside links

Affiliate links (for example to Amazon) and links to official sources take you to third-party sites. Those sites have their own privacy policies and may use cookies — for example, a retailer can record that you arrived from us so we can be credited for a sale. We don't control or receive that personal data.

Email

If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply. We don't add you to a mailing list or share your email.

Children

Our sites are meant for a general audience and aren't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its date. Questions: [email protected].
